Fairly good movie. But don't aspect too much. You'll be disappointed if you do. It is a easy watching movie (like easy listening music) is there such a thing?

I should not have click on play!
While editing my post about warewolf Boy, I surf Youtube for clips of Song JongKi. Just to get the feel of OST and such, then I stumble upon this title, Song JongKi kiss with Petty whats-her-name. Feeling curious, I clicked on it, thinking it must be an innocent kiss scene from a movie or something. But to my astonishment!, it was more than an innocent peck on the lips. There was grouping! Imagine the shock I was in when the sweet Kang
Maru place his hand on a girl's boob. Luckyly that was the end of it. They still manage to keep it that 'innocent' when the clip just end there, where the girl whisper something in his ear. And fortunately enough that I didn't have my headphone on and the volume was on low. Whatever that drama or movie was, I'm definately not watching it, same as I won't watch Frozen Flower which I know there's a bed scene of Song JiHyo in it. Shees.. I'm truly disapointed.

A Werewolf Boy Movie Review (늑대소년)
Just finished watching Wolf Boy.
Movie Poster
i think its quiet good. Park Bo-young was convincing and Song Joong-ki was awesome. At first I couldn't believe it was filmed in 2012. Because Joong-ki looked very young in the movie.

Challenge to Kudo Shinichi: Riddle of the Mysterious Legendary Bird (工藤新一への挑戦状~怪鳥伝説の謎~)
Baru lepas tengok movie Detektive Conan 3.

Disney's A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Sunday! Movie night for me. I just watched Disney's A CHRISTMAS CAROL! And I must admit, it's been a while since I've watched a good movie. Obviously, to me, the movie was told by a very good storyteller. The animation and effects amazes me. And since I'm also a fan of Jim Carey, it's a plus! Those who haven't seen it, I recommend to go and and do so.
Night all.

Another movie marathon.
Three movies in one night. "Why?" should you ask. Because the Astro broke down and I couldn't get my weekly medicine of Korean pills. Somehow the Astro decoder decided not to turn on. D@mn! Since I mention my Korean pills, you can straightly guess that the movies for tonight was all Korean.
First movie: Almost Love (청춘만화). A romantic comedy. The hero? A famous Halyu star Kwon Sang Woo (권상우). Love story of two childhood friends or in other words, the boy's crush towards the girl he befriends. Childhood friends who always quarrel and also are comfortable around each other. To cut the story short, why didn't the boy just confess and save the time and heart ache of two other people? Because that wouldn't be a story for a movie ain't it?
Main Cast:
Second movie: Marrying School Girl (여고생 시집가기). A rather short movie and played by G-1 (to my surprise). A comedy about how superstition can change how one live his life. Nothing to say about this movie other than the heroin has really big irises and G-1's bum is not a sight I want to see.

Main Cast:
Third movie: Temptation of Wolves (늑대의 유혹). A melodrama movie with the typical Korean storyline. Two rivals who happens to like the same girl. Goes trough the tug and war process, then someone finds out he got an illness and has no chance of surviving. Ends up dying leaving the people he left in such sadness, and come with the crying scenes. Tea Sung played by Lee Cheong Ah kind of reminds me of Frodo Baggins of The Lord of the Rings. (^_^)
- Lim Eun kyeong (임은경) as Pyongang
- Eun Ji-won (은지원) as Ondal

Baby and I/Baby and Me (아기와 나)
Just finished watching Baby and I/Baby and Me (아기와 나). (Don't beat me up just because I only get to watch the movie today. Just bear with me here) Coincidentally, the hero is still Jang Geun-seok for tonight's movie. I, unintended and was unaware of that fact before downloading and watching it. Funny nah? I would like to think of it as a preparation before watching the Drama Mary Stayed out All Night/Marry Me, Mary! (매리는 외박중). Yup, I haven't watched that yet either. Please, don't remind me.
For tonight, as the title of the movie suggested, Jang Geun-seok replaces his guitar, which we always see behind his back with a baby. Yup, a baby! And the baby happens to be... none other than the famous baby Moon Mason, cutest baby with Canadian and Korean blood in him. I found recent photos of him over the internet. Obviously, he grew, and surprisingly to me, starts to look like baby Yooguen, SHINee baby from Hello Baby.
Back to the movie, my view... FUNNY! Scenes such as taking a picture with your hand phone of the person you just meet just because you have fallen in love at first sight. And going from house to house just to get breast milk for the baby. And this particular scene where Han Joon-su was so frustrated that he couldn't find a job that allows him to bring a baby to work, just come up to a shop owner and starts yelling. What's funny was the way the shop owner shouted back at him! The look on Joon-su's face? Priceless! (Opss, I forgot to put the spoiler alert. Sorry.)
Beside the point of being a straight up comedy movie, teenage pregnancy and having a baby out of wedlock is not a laughing matter. But at least they don't throw the baby away like garbage like we face in our country. Sometimes I wonder, how could the person who did that do such an inhuman thing? Even animals don't do that to their young.
Anyhow, Baby and I is a must watch movie for Jang Geun-seok and Mason fans out there. Even though you are not, non-fan will turn into fans by the end of the movie. That, I 85% guaranty. One thing I don't like was the voice over for baby Woo-ram.

Do Re Mi Pa Sol La Si Do (도레미파솔라시도)
Drama drama drama. Asyik tengok drama je. Lama dah tak tengok filem korea. Sejak tak keluar jalan pergi kedai, sejak tu la tak beli VCD filem korea. Tapi nasib baik ada internet, boleh la jugak lepas rindu. Jalan-jalan kat youtube, jumpa movie Do Re Mi Pa Sol La Si Do (도레미파솔라시도). Mula-mula tengok... aiks... macam kenal lah pelakon lelaki tu... tapi siapa ya? Cari punya cari, rupanya pelakon yang sama yang berlakon dalam Mary Stayed Out All Night/Marry Me, Mary! (매리는 외박중) drama KBS baru-baru ni. Koala memang selalu macam ni. Tidur banyak sangat, sebab tu la jadi lembab pelupa. 크크크
Filem korea secara amnya tak macam filem barat. Filem korea banyak kena mengagak, bak kata lain, sendiri mau tau la.
Contoh? Okla, contoh senang, bila hero dan heroinnya jatuh cinta, mana ada tunjuk sangat babak-babak jatuh cinta. Senang aje dorang, jumpa je terus boleh jadi pasangan. Berbanding dengan barat, ayat "Aku cinta kamu" tu senang aja diucap. Macam percuma pulak kan? (Satu lagi soalan untuk pembaca. 크크크) Mungkin sebab budaya berbeza.
Hero sakat heroin. Heroin balas dendam. Hero balas balik. Lagi sesi menyakat. Akhir sekali, soalan keramat tu pun terpacul "Awak suka saya kan?" Tau tau dah jadi pasangan! Senang kan? Ish, kalau lah realiti hidupku macam tu... "Saya suka awak." "Awak suka saya?" Pastu terus kawin. Kan seronok tu!?... alamak, melalut! Abaikan! Berbalik pada ayat keramat tu tadi... "Awak suka saya kan?" Jawapan pada soalan tu juga tak jelas. Kadang-kadang soalan tu tak terjawab pun. Pastu apa terjadi, pandai-pandai la agak sendiri.
Jalan cerita ni ok-ok je. Memandangkan filem ni diadaptasi dari novel cyber yang terkenal, mungkin dah ramai peminat sendiri. Yang paling tak tahan, babak akhir sekali, (amaran: spoiler alert!) walaupun ada sedikit kelakar sebelum tu, buat ku menitiskan air mata juga la. Tapi dua titik je. Tak banyak pun.
Filem ni di bawah katergori drama romantik. Dalam erti kata lain: Chick Flick. Kaum Adam tak yah tengok la. Takut bosan pulak nanti.

I started tearing up when she starts hauling like a banshee. (Bad Family Drama Review)
Like I said a few days ago in my entry on 21 December, I’ll be making a special entry about the drama. Since I stopped at the last two episodes, the drama starts to fall into a conclusion. There were scenes where the little girl Na Rim played by Lee Young Yoo (이영유) was crying like a banshee that made my eyes teary. I don’t know since when, but since getting older, I get teary eyed very easily. So different from when I was in school, maybe its hormone? … Okay back to the drama.
In the first and second episodes, the cast was lacking somewhat of an on air chemistry, but as the story develops, it gets better. The storyline was interesting though but might be illogical at times but still funny.
And it was nice to have a break from all beautiful casts in one drama sometimes. My eyes and my heart can only take so much. If you follow the Ulzzang mania and a K-Drama Maniac yourself you would understand what I mean.
Overall, I like the drama. Not because Nam Sang Mi (남상미) and Kim Hee Chul (김희철) are in it, but because the drama falls into the comedy genre.
Trivia:
1. Did you know that Nam Sang Mi also starts in the drama Sweet Spy (달콤한스파이) and the movie She’s On Duty which evidently where my blog got its name.
2. She’s on duty also stars Kim Sun Ah (김선아) who plays Kim Sam Soon in My Lovely Sam Soon (내 이름은 김삼순).

Seven movies in one day
1. Alice In Wonderland
2. Despicable Me
3. How To Train Your Dragon
4. Sherlock Holmes
5. The Last Airbender
6. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
7. Toy Story 3
Seven movies in one day! That’s a record! \(^o^)/ *wa--i!~ (^^)//
That’s how I spent my weekend. Not really satisfied though. I was really disappointed with The Last Aibender. For starters, the maker decided to cramp the whole ‘Book One: Water’ in one movie. If you’re going to do that, at least make it a 3 hour movie.
Then they decided to cast actors that somehow seem to be missing something that lead to inexperience acting. Uncle Iroh was okay though, but still Shaun Toub didn’t really get the character as a whole. He forgot the squints and little gestures that Uncle Iroh does at times in the original animated version. And don’t get me started on Jackson Rathbone who does not get Sokka’s humor at all. That may have been the scriptwriter’s fault though. But, when it’s time for Sokka to be funny, he WASN’T at all! And who the hell decided to change the pronunciation of Aang to Ang?!?! (._.?)
Ruined! All ruined! Special effect is just so and so, but they could have done better. Soundtrack and music score, FAIL! As a fan or the original animated version, I am really disappointed at the movie. Maybe to me, to someone who already watched the animated version and a fan might have a higher expectation for the movie.
Alice in Wonderland was so much better. Better music score, better special effect, and maybe better storyline. It takes the viewer along to every step in the movie. How To Train Your Dragon was okay too. Though I might not say the same if I’ve had read the book version first. And the music score for Sherlock Holmes somehow reminded me of Dexter’s opening music.

My Lovely Sam-soon
I like the script though. Nice. Finally, a Korean drama that I can quote. Since I’m going to be Samsoon’s age, I think the drama gets me. At one time, Samsoon’s coworkers said this:
01-Nice men are ugly
02-Handsome men are not nice
03-Handsome and nice men are married
04-Handsome, nice and unmarried men are useless
05-Handsome, nice, unmarried and rich men are not interested in us
06-Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us are players
07-Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us and faithful are homosexuals...
...
10-Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us, faithful, straight and who would not lose interest in us even if we made the first moves – those men must have problems!
Reality bites.
One more thing that I like about the drama is that Samsoon is a Pastry Chef (Patisseur)! Wish I could bake like that. Opening my own bakery and making delicious cakes and cookies, wouldn’t that be awesome?

What I get from watching My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.
Few days ago, I made an entry and end up asking this question: "How is watching drama fruitful". Today I have an answer.
I learn new stuff, for instance, some things might mean something to other people but to Miho it might be something totally different.
Here are some examples. Specifically, Miho's color dictionary:
Miho’s Color Dictionary
Colour | 한국어 | romanized | To Miho it’s | phonetic | meaning |
brown | 갈색 | galsaeg | 암소 | amso | cow |
pink | 핑크 | pingkeu | 돼지 | dwaeji | pig |
yellow | 황색 | hwangsaeg | 닭고기 | dalg-gogi | chicken |
Bonus info: Cha Tae Woong quote
“If you are crazy, stick a flower in your hair to show it!”

I tried and I failed.
It just isn't working. Trying to blog when the sun is out makes it harder to write. With people around and ideas not coming out... oh well, seems like I'll have to continue writing at night. heheh... (^_^;)
Since I stopped playing facebook games, life has gotten better. I have so much time on my hands now that I feel free. I know sometimes you can get bored, but there are other fruitful things you can do to fill your time. Way to go Koala. Another milestone achieved! And since then, i substitute the facebook games with watching dramas online. Love Love Love it! Ha-ha! How is watching drama fruitful you say? Beats me. *shrugs
Currently watching My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, right now I'm at episode 7. (yeah I know, I'm a little behind) LOVE the drama with the Romance comedy genre is just my cup of tea. (^__^). Quoting Miho in the drama, this is what I would say to the writer: "당신은 정말 너무 너무 감사합니다" ngee...
