Decided to start shopping on-line again but determined to be more thrifty this time around. While browsing the internet, I come to discover this cute little thing they call Tony Moly Lip Tint in miniature size. Seen it around before, but never actually wanted to try.

Fake GEO Lenses?

This is a translation of my entry about the contact lenses I bought online.

      I received a package today. Or more accurately, a Pos Express envelope. The contact lenses I was waiting for finally arrived. But ... Why I am not satisfied? Ok let us explain one by one.

      Remember a few weeks ago, I made an entry telling that I rip my left contact lenses? Yes, after that incident, I started looking for sellers of contact lenses of the same brand but different vendors (as I was a little unsatisfied with the experience of buying from the first seller). I came across a blog (malaysianbigeyeskoreanlens), which happened to have a pre-order that almost reach its last pre-order date. So without further thought, I straightaway ordered two pairs of lenses from the blog owner.

Event Chronology (Starting from ordering up to receiving the actual):

• 17 November 2010: Sends an email asking how to order and make payment.
• 19 November 2010: Got a reply.
• 21 November 2010: Made payment.
• 23 November 2010: Pre-order closing date.
• 14 December 2010: The date the goods are expected to arrive according to the blog.

      A few weeks past but still no parcel. As I am an understanding customer, I was still waiting patiently ... After all, the owner did mention to not ask when the stock will arrive. She has posted the reasons in the blog.

Terms and Conditions

• 1 January 2011: Sent a message through Facebook to the other blog owner. (Info: blog owners happens to be sisters) The same day (a few minutes later): Got a reply from the owner explaining that they were still waiting for the supplier for the stock giving 'the end of the year' as an excuse.
• 6 February 2011: Asked again about the contact lenses.
• 10 February 2011: Got a reply that my contact lenses have been posted out.
• 16 February 2011: Finally received the parcel.

     After the envelope was opened ... erkk! Authentic Security Stickers are missing! Name and label color were different from the vial I purchase previously (fortunately I still kept the old vials). And the other pair of contact lenses, missing one Authenticity Security Sticker. Doubtful, I sent another message via Facebook. The reason given in the reply this time was "her sister might have forgotten to stick on the Authentic Sticker." [Is there such a thing? I thought the sticker was suppose to be placed by the manufacturer and not the distributor] *After some diggng around, I found out (from pictures over the web), the answer is Yes. The distributor is suppose to stick on the Authentic Sticker on the vials before sending it out to the buyers.

Harini sangat tak puas hati.

     Dapat bungkusan hari ni. Atau lebih tepat, sampul Pos Ekspress. Kanta Lekap yang ditunggu-tunggu akhirnya sampai juga. Tapi... apa yang tak puas hati? Ok mari kita terangkan satu persatu.

     Ingat tak haritu ada entri yang bagitau kanta lekap ku ada sedikit koyak? Ya, lepas kejadian tu, mulalah mencari penjual jenama kanta lekap yang sama tapi penjual yang berlainan (memandangkan ketidakpuasan pengalaman membeli dari penjual yang pertama). Jumpalah satu blog ni, malaysianbigeyeskoreanlens yang kebetulan waktu tu hampir-hampir menutup tarikh 'pre-order'nya. Jadi, tanpa fikir panjang, terus tempah dua pasang kanta lekap dari pemilik blog tu.

Kronologi proses pembelian hingga produk sampai:

• 17 November 2010: Tarikh hantar emel bertanyakan cara tempah dan cara bayaran dan lain-lain.
• 19 November 2010: Dapat jawapan.
• 21 November 2010: Bayaran pun diteruskan.
• 23 November 2010: Tarikh tutup tempahan.
• 14 Disember 2010 : Tarikh barang dijangka sampai.

Memandangkan saya seorang pelanggan yang memahami, tetap menunggu dengan sabar... Lagipun, dia dah pesan, jangan tanya bila stok akan sampai. Sebab dah dinyatakan di blog tu.

• 1 Januari 2011: Akhirnya menghantar pesanan melalui Facebook pada pemilik blog yang kedua. (info: pemilik blog adalah dua orang adik beradik)
• Hari yang sama (beberapa minit kemudian): Dapat jawapan menyatakan mereka masih menuggu pembekal menghantar pesanan dengan alasan 'akhir tahun'.
• 6 Februari 2011: Bertanyakan lagi tentang kanta lekap yang ditunggu sekian lama.
• 10 Februari 2011: Dapat berita, bahawa kanta lekap telah pun diposkan.
• 16 Februari 2011: Akhirnya kanta lekap sampai ke tanganku.

     Bila buka... erk! Pelekat keselamatan keaslian (authenticity sticker) tak ada! Nama dan warna label pun berbeza dari botol yang sebelum ni (nasib baik masih simpan botol yang lama). Sepasang lagi kanta lekap lagi, tak cukup satu pelakat keselamatan. Dengan rasa ragu-ragu, terus menghantar pesanan lagi melalui Facebook. Alasan yang diberi kali ni, "takut sista lupa nak lekat".
