After hours searching, finally I found it.
While watching Kpop Countdown Inkigayo last Sunday (hoping to see B1A4, sadly it was a back episode), my ears and eyes caught upon this unfamiliar group. Singing a very catchy song that caught me in an instant. I only manage to read 긱스 but still couldn't grasp who the singer was or what song they were singing. But believe me when I say, my eyes were glued to the subtitle and my ears to the melody. After the show finishes, I may not be that over excite to search about the group (as I usually am when this thing happens), but still, the melody stuck! As time flies, I soon forgotten the urge to Google this mysterious group.
While watching Running Man episode 142 (pre-recorded) today, that tune creeps up on me again. It was the background music while Running Man was assign to chose food at the buffet. As soon as I heard it, just as Running Man has a commercial break, I pushed the stopped button and went strait on the internet. It took me a couple of hours and finally I found it! Geeks (긱스) - How Are You (어때) Feat. Harim (하림)
Apparently, Geeks is a Hip-hop duo consisting of Lil Boi(릴보이) and Louie(루이). Debut on March 9th 2011.
It took me a few of tries on the Kpop Countdown Inkigayo charts. I YouTube each and every unfamiliar group in the chart. Accidentally stumble upon Wash Away (Feat. 에일리) by 긱스 (Geeks). Sounded familiar, but not the song I searched for. So I skipped it (that was because I didn't know the group name I was looking for was actually Geeks).Face palm
I had to back track until April Week 3 of Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2013, to finally found what I was looking for. Yippee! It was all worth it, as I hear many worth listening to music along the way (under top 10 songs). Unlike half of the top ten that either sell sex or aegyo rather than real music.
