I successfully rip my contact lens. Dumb dumb! *smacking my own forehead. I rubbed it too hard. And I didn't even get the chance to do the review yet.
Anyhow, here's the review:
I got my GEO CK-105 from GEO Contact Lenses. Originally I ordered the XCK-105 but the owner said she was out of stock. So I changed it to the CK105 one. I paid RM48 and I got ripped off!
How so, you asked? Ok, let me explain. The XCK-105 is RM45 and I also ordered a lens case for RM3. So I paid RM48 in total. {Yes, I know I can get cheaper elsewhere, but they don't offer Ready Stock} But after changing the order, the owner, Florence Chee (according to her email) says she'll refund my RM5. Asking for my bank account number, instead I told her to put the RM5 note in the parcel. And she said okay. But when it came, I found NO RM5 note and NO lens case. Besides, the lenses arrive later than I expected.
Order date: 18 September 2010
Respond from owner: 19 September 2010
Payment made: 19 September 2010
Shipment date on the parcel: 22 September 2010
Shipment finally arrives: 26 September 2010
I was disappointed because the website said, after payment, the item will be sent out the next day. That was why I decided to order form her, because I wanted the contact lenses urgently. Wanting it to arrive before OR on that Thursday (23 September 2010). And to my shock, it arrived in the RM3 Pos Ekspres envelope with No bubble wrap what-so-ever.
The website also state that they offer "free shipping for Malaysia buyers". But after checking it twice, this is so-not-true. They charge RM5 for shipping in West Malaysia. How can they miss the conflicted statement on the website?
So there, that’s the review of my online shopping experience with GEO Contact Lenses. What? You thought I was going to review the lenses itself? Ha ha... not.
