So far...

2 days working in a school, I met few interesting characters, on the bright side after all. It's not all negative. I observe teachers, especially the female ones, almost all, like to talk. Chatting away like there is no care at all. Topic of conversation varies along from the weather to how a specific student act or do in class to what they had for breakfast. At times they chat about something funny then laugh like there was no one else in the room. So, I was thinking, if they have the energy to do all that, why should some complain that working as a teacher is time and energy consuming? But then again, this was only a half day observation. It's not my place to say.

Then there's the pupils.. So many of them, some I found interesting to mention here. First day I was asked to help to watch over Year 5 during KH exam. One student without hesitation asked for my name, then asked for my age. To satisfy his curiosity and some others, I held a specific slot for them to ask questions. Some of the questions asked, weather I'm married, am I a new teacher, and where I went to school. Of cause I didn't answer truthfully to any accept my name. And there's one who seems rebellious against an authority figure. He put a foot on the other leg that end his shoe on the table. I told him to put it down and ask did his father ever teachers him to do that. He bluntly replied "Yes". Second day, I was asked to watch over Year 3 for Arabic Lang exam. Little cute kids with innocents on their faces. One specific one seemed to have no fear whatsoever of me. Singing jokingly during the exam. One kept asking for answers. Unfortunately for him, I didn't know to any of it. It has been decades since my last Arabic Lang Class. Few keep asking for answers from friends. They were all so cute that I didn't scold any of them. Besides, it was not my place to do so. They were very noisy halfway through the exam that maybe made me looked confuse and distorted, one asked the rest to kept quite then asked me to smile. So I did, resulting to some chuckles among them. :-) The class rep was surprisingly very responsible in the end even though he was one of the loud ones earlier.
So many interesting individual, started me thinking again about my surroundings after so long. :-D
